Guitarist 

Vice President / Director / co-founder

Born in South Korea on December 10th, 1992, Kyo-Hyuk Lee began his musical journey at the age of 15 under the tutelage of his uncle, guitarist Woohyuk Lee. He furthered his studies with the renowned guitarist Sung-Woo Lee at age 16 and participated in numerous international guitar festivals, where he received masterclass guidance from world-class classical guitar maestros.

In 2013, Mr. Lee moved to Spain to study at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid. During his tenure in Spain, he was a frequent soloist and concerto performer, appearing at prestigious venues and organizations including the Conde Duque Cultural Center, the Korean Association in Spain, and the “Jose Luis Rodrigo” Festival for Young Guitarists. His international presence extended to the Spanish Embassy in Seoul, where he collaborated with the Rhee Yeu-Seuk Guitar Orchestra. To date, he has performed extensively across the globe, including Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, and South Korea.

Mr. Lee’s artistry has been recognized through various accolades, including being a finalist at the Concurso Gredos San Diego para Jóvenes (2015) and receiving honors at the Concurso Arriaga (2016). Recently, he has maintained a robust performance schedule in New York and beyond, featuring regular engagements at Governors Island, performances at the Riverside Church in Manhattan, and a recent appearance at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.

In addition to his performing career, Mr. Lee is a dedicated educator, currently serving on the faculty at Buckley Country Day School.

Violinist 

Music Director / co-founder

Hudson Ye-Hyung Chung, acclaimed for his sophisticated interpretations and warm, exquisite tone, was born in Jerusalem, Israel, and began playing the violin at the age of six. He made his debut with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra at the age of eleven, earning recognition from Itzhak Navon, who later became his patron and supported his musical studies in Israel.

Since then, Mr. Chung has performed in prestigious venues around the world and has received numerous awards from an early age. His accolades include First Prize in the Israeli-American Foundation Sharett Scholarship Program in Tel Aviv (2006), the Kukmin Daily News Competition in Seoul (2007), the Youngsan Young Artist Competition in Seoul (2008), the New York International Music Competition (2012), and the Bach International Music Competition (2024).

An active chamber musician, Mr. Chung has collaborated with distinguished artists such as Gil Shaham, Paul Huang, Ani Kavafian, Melissa Reardon, Melvin Chen, and Raman Ramakrishnan. He has also appeared at renowned festivals including the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, and Keshet Eilon.

Mr. Chung is an alumnus of the Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, and New England Conservatory, where he studied with renowned pedagogues including Hyo Kang, Miriam Fried, Paul Biss, and Peter Zazofsky. He currently continues his studies at Stony Brook University under the guidance of Jennifer Frautschi, Phil Setzer, and Hagai Shaham, where he is a recipient of a full-merit scholarship.

Owen Dodds is an American pianist and composer known for his diverse and stimulating musical career. Originally from North Carolina and now based in New York City, Owen performs across a wide spectrum of genres as a classical soloist, chamber musician, songwriter, and composer.

Owen has performed at several of New York’s most prestigious venues, including:

• Carnegie Hall
• Steinway Hall
• Lincoln Center (Clark Studio Theatre)
• Rockwood Music Hall

Recent notable performances include:

• Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3: Performed with the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Xian Zhang.
• John Cage’s Credo in Us: Collaborated with percussionist Eduardo Leandro.
• Vaughan Williams Program: Featured alongside University of North Carolina School of the Arts faculty, including Paul Sharpe, Brooks Whitehouse, Jordan Bak, and Glenn Siebert.

• Manhattan School of Music: Member of the Artist Staff.
• Hoff-Barthelson Music School: Piano Faculty member.
• Stony Brook University: Currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree under the mentorship of Gilbert Kalish.

 Clarinetist

Born in Portugal, clarinetist Guilherme Batalha is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Stony Brook University. He began his musical training at the National Academy of Advanced Orchestral Studies in Lisbon under Nuno Silva, and after moving to the United States in 2018, he completed both his Master of Music and Artist Diploma degrees at California State University, Fullerton, studying with Håkan Rosengren, Burt Hara, and Andrew Lowy.

A winner of the 2023 Stony Brook Concerto Competition, Guilherme has been recognized in numerous national and international competitions, earning Second Prize at the Città di Carlino International Clarinet Competition in Italy and at Portugal’s Prémio Jovens Músicos. He was also the Grand Prize Winner of the CSUF Concerto Competition and First Prize Winner of the Southern California Philharmonic Concerto Competition. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned clarinetists including Yehuda Gilad, Michele Zukovsky, Joaquin Valdepeñas, Pascal Moraguès, and Calogero Palermo, and has performed with distinguished ensembles such as the City of London Sinfonia, Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, and Gabrieli Consort & Players.

An avid chamber musician, Guilherme has collaborated with artists such as Carol Wincenc (flute), Gina Cuffari (bassoon), Jennifer Frautschi (violin), Katherine Spencer (clarinet), and Daniel Bates (oboe). He is a founding member of the Varick Trio (clarinet, violin, and piano) with Rachel Lim and Kevin Kyaw. Based in Long Island, the trio performs regularly and has inspired the creation of new works dedicated to them.

Pianist

Marked by poetic lyricism in solo performance and vibrant imagination in chamber music collaborations, pianist Sunmi Han has appeared in major venues across Europe, the U.S., and Asia—including Munich’s Herkulessaal and Prague’s Smetana Hall—and has performed as soloist with the North Czech Philharmonic, Karlovy Vary Symphony, Kharkiv Philharmonic, Moravian Symphony, and Seoul Philharmonic. A devoted chamber musician, she has collaborated with artists such as Arnaud Sussmann, Jörg Widmann, Colin Carr, Denis Várjon, Matthew Lipman, Nicholas Mann, Alan Kay, Pauline Sachse, Seth Knopp, and members of the Emerson Quartet. An alumna of The Juilliard School, she also holds degrees from Tel Aviv University and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, and is currently completing her DMA at Stony Brook University. Upcoming projects include Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations and Copland’s Piano Variations.
